Stop by the Chamber's Visitor Center to browse our selection of T-shirts and more. We still have several hundred shirts in a variety of designs that were delivered to us by the Warner Bros. licensing department. Most are adult sizes small to XL and juniors/ladies small to XL. All shirts are $20 each.
While at the Visitor Center, pick up your Annual Goonies Day button - available while supplies last. This year's button is $2 and includes an entry into our raffle drawing. Additional raffle tickets may be purchased for $1 each.

Copper Bones 5k
Whether you join us in Astoria for Goonies Day or celebrate from afar, you can participate in the Copper Bones 5k run/walk event.
Inspired by the 1985 Goonies movie, join us on this fun, fan-filled 5K run/walk with VIRTUAL PACE SERIES in June for the celebration of Goonies Day. Registration includes 5" finisher medal with leather strap inspired by The Goonies, Tyvek bib and shipping.
A virtual run can be done at any location and time on June 7 - simply choose your location then run/walk/jog/bike or even treadmill your 5K at your pace. Submit your results and receive your medal.
We have partnered with the VPS team and they will give a portion of the of the proceeds to the Astoria-Warrenton Area Chamber for any successful registered participant that uses the code: GOONDOCKS. Participants using this code at time of registration will also enjoy a $2 discount on their entry fee. Advance registration is discounted.

Meet Curtis Hanson
aka Mr. Perkins
Curtis Hanson began his acting “career” in Portland in 1972 and in 1980 began getting roles in film and TV productions. A member of SAG-AFTRA, Curt has acted in numerous supporting TV and film roles including NBC’s mini-series Dead by Sunset; the USA channel’s Homewrecker; and (his favorite, of course!) as Mr. Perkins in The Goonies. Over the years, Curt has appeared in dozens of stage productions in the Portland area.
Curt will be at the Chamber on Thursday afternoon and will be hanging out around town on Friday, He loves sharing stories from filming so bring your questions!
Shot in Astoria - Guided Tour
Hop on board the Glam Tram for a fun tour of Astoria's movie locations. Each tour will take you within view of sites from The Goonies, Free Willy, Short Circuit, Kindergarten Cop, Black Stallion and The Ring II. Your guide will tell you about these locations and their roles.
The Oregon Film Museum celebrates the art and legacy of films and film-making in the State of Oregon. Housed in the old Clatsop County Jail, the museum invites visitors to explore the films and production behind making movies in Oregon. Wander through this building that was an actual working jail (from 1914 - 1976) and the scene of the famous opening jail break from the Goonies. The Clatsop County Historical Society also operates the Heritage Museum, Flavel House and the Uppertown Firefighter's Museum.
