Sail with Sloth

While this special event is sold out, the Lady Washington will be in Astoria for 10 days with many opportunities for dockside tours and sailings starting at $35 per ticket. Book direct through the Historical Seaport.

Join Randell Widner, stunt double for Sloth, and Curt Hanson, the actor who portrayed Elgin Perkins, the film’s villainous golf course developer, for an evening cruise on the Lady Washington. Passengers will be able to engage in conversation with both Mr. Hanson and Mr. Widner, in addition to hearing stories from their time on The Goonies set and about other experiences with Hollywood. Passengers will receive a limited edition commemorative glass coin made by Fernhill Glass of Astoria and have access to attend a reception prior to the sail.

Passengers will also learn about this historical tall ship from the ship’s crew through living history demonstrations, sea shanty singing and more. Built in 1989, the wooden-hulled brig Lady Washington is a traditionally built replica that has appeared in several films, including Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl and TV productions, such as recent episodes of “Once Upon A Time” and “Revolution.”
